    Uploaded candidate photograph; file size: 100-5 mixed: KB minimum; MB maximum; background: light or white.

    Published reasons for rejection

    • Shadows on the face or background are not accepted.
    • Non-frontal or side-facing pose can fail the stated requirement.
    • Eyes must be visible/open as stated.
    • Spectacle glare, dark or coloured glasses can make the photograph unacceptable.
    • Caps/hats are restricted; any permitted religious covering must leave required facial features visible.

    Applies when: Candidates with disability using the services of a scribe

    Prescribed proforma at Appendix 3, naming a primary and an alternate scribe with their highest educational qualifications. Uploaded and carried to the examination centre with the Hall Ticket. No file size or format is published.

  • Certificate of limitation in writing (Appendix 1 / Appendix 2)

    Applies when: Candidates with less than 40% disability seeking scribe or compensatory time (Appendix 1), and candidates with specified disabilities other than blindness, locomotor (both arms) and cerebral palsy (Appendix 2)

    Prescribed proforma issued by the Chief Medical Officer / Civil Surgeon / Chief District Medical Officer of a Government healthcare institution. Valid only for CET-2026. No file size or format is published.

How you should look in the photograph

This examination hasn’t published rules about spectacles, headwear or expression, or we haven’t found them. We haven’t invented any.

About the application itself

  • Incomplete application forms will be summarily rejected.
  • Application form sent by Post/Courier will not be entertained and hence be rejected.
  • Any inconsistency or mismatch in Aadhaar or APAAR details may lead to delays or rejection of the application.
  • Failure of the candidate in entering full and correct information in the online application form and/or suppression of any information would lead to disqualification of the candidate for MHT-CET-2026 or even at later date.
